How to get a PR in Australia on a Student Visa?

International students who study in Australia may apply for permanent residence on a student visa and do not require the employer’s support. They must achieve at least 65 points to be approved for the PR.

In Australia, there are three ways to apply for public relations jobs online: family stream, workstream or business investment stream. For 18 months to 4 years after graduation, students from abroad are generally granted a temporary graduate visa under class 485, which permits them to live and work in Australia.

However, to apply for PR, international students must apply for a Skilled Independent Visa while studying and obtain PR before completing their studies. Their PR applications are assessed based on a points system and must score at least 65 points. Applications may be submitted via the Australian Home Affairs website.

You must meet some requirements if you wish to remain in Australia after completing your studies:

⦁ After completing the course, you may apply for a temporary student visa under class 485.

⦁ Ensure that the course you choose is not under two years old and has been approved by CRICOS, a system that approves courses for students from abroad.

⦁ You must have an IELTS score of at least 8.0 to qualify for Australia’s Public Relations Program .

⦁ The job you plan to do after graduating should be on the ANZSCO job list. Again, the course you pick under CRICOS must be at least two years long.
If you meet these criteria after completion of your studies, it may be possible for you to stay in Australia.
