Provinces that DO NOT provide public health insurance to international students:
- Manitoba
- Ontario
- Prince Edward Island
- Yukon
If you aren’t eligible for provincial health coverage, your only option is a private health insurance plan. These usually cost, on average, from CAD 600 to 900 per year.
